Our Mission
The United States military lists 80,000 members as Missing in Action (MIA), of which more than 70,000 are from the battles of WWII. Every year more and more sites are identified with remains ready for recovery. As that list grows ever longer, governmental budgets for recovery are constantly curtailed. Our plan will significantly ameliorate the problem via public-private partnerships.
The nexus of Resolute Promise LLC is returning more American MIAs home to their families while at the same time bringing their stories to the public square. Resolute Promise is more than a project. It is the fulfillment of the historical promise to leave no man behind.
Challenges due to budgeting limitations on government agencies mean it is physically impossible for them to recover the remains of our MIAs within the next 200 years. This is why Resolute Promise is so very important. By launching private and public partnership recoveries, our team will augment the number of recovered MIAs for years to come.
Our goal is multi-faceted: bring home Marines and Soldiers lost to military operations, document every element for use in producing documentaries, and create educational media for use by middle, high, and college-level schools in the areas of history, culture, general sciences, plus specifically forensic anthropology/archaeology. We will integrate paid internships into our teams to bring the next generations and to elevate and advance our capabilities.
